What your callers get
A real conversation. A booked job.
Riley picks up on the first ring, figures out what's wrong, checks your calendar, and books the inspection. At 9:47 on a Saturday night.
Hear it yourself: call (516) 990-9054 →Hi, I think I've got a leak over the kitchen. Can someone take a look?
Sorry to hear that! We can get someone out to check it. What town are you in?
Massapequa.
Perfect, we cover Massapequa. What day works best for you?
Monday morning?
You're all set for Monday at 10 AM.

Why it matters
Missed calls cost roofing companies real jobs
It's not just annoying. It's lost revenue, every single week.
Storm damage calls don't wait
After a storm hits Long Island, every homeowner with a damaged roof is calling multiple roofers at once. The first roofer to answer and book usually wins the job.
"We'll call you back" loses jobs
By the time you return a voicemail, that homeowner has already booked with someone else. Roofing leads are urgent and impatient by nature.
You can't answer every call yourself
You're on a roof, driving to a job site, or it's 9pm on a Saturday. Your phone doesn't stop ringing just because you're busy. Now it doesn't have to matter.
How it works
We do the setup. You get the booked jobs.
We build it for your business
We set it up with your services, your service area, and your hours. You don't touch any tech.
We connect your phone and calendar
Your calls forward to it, and every appointment it books shows up on your calendar.
We check on it every week
We go over your calls, fine-tune what it says, and send you a quick weekly report.
No more “someone will call you back.”
Do the math
What are missed calls actually costing you?
Estimated lost revenue
$17,320/month
That's about 2 jobs a month going to someone else.
That's about 57x what Long Island Voices costs.
Assumes about 1 in 4 missed calls (25%) would have turned into a job. Change the numbers to match your business.
Your options
Cheaper than a receptionist. Better than voicemail.
Here's what it really costs to make sure every call gets answered.
Hire a receptionist
$3,000+/month
Wages alone, before payroll taxes. Covers about 40 of the 168 hours in a week.
Answering service
$720+/month
For about 200 minutes of calls a month. Busy weeks cost more, and booking is often extra.
Voicemail
$0
Until the homeowner hangs up and calls the next roofer.
Long Island Voices
$300/month
Flat. Answers 24/7, books the job, and we run it for you.
90% cheaper
than a full-time receptionist ($300 vs about $3,170 a month)
4x the hours
answers all 168 hours of the week, not just 40
$0.41 an hour
to keep your phone covered, vs $18.27 an hour for a receptionist
Picks up nights, weekends, and storm rushes
Books the inspection on your calendar
Knows roofing: leaks, storm damage, inspections
Sends emergencies straight to your cell
No hiring, training, or sick days to cover
Set up and checked every week for you
Receptionist estimate uses the U.S. median receptionist wage of $18.27/hour (BLS, May 2025) for 40 hours a week. Long Island's minimum wage is $17/hour in 2026. Answering service price is Ruby's published plan for 200 minutes a month. Their smallest plan is $250 for 50 minutes.
Long Island born and run
Built by Long Islanders, for Long Island roofers
Long Island Voices is Sahil and Aidan, two local partners who built this for roofing companies in our own backyard. It's not a generic call-center tool. We know the storm seasons, the competition, and what it costs when a job call goes to voicemail. When you call us, you get one of us, not a call center.
Tested before it answers your phone
Before Riley takes a single real call, we run it through roofing calls: active leaks, storm damage, reschedules, out-of-area callers, salespeople, and people who ask if it's a robot. Then we call it ourselves.
Checked every week
We read your call transcripts, fix anything Riley got wrong, and send you a short report of what came in and what got booked.

Why do I need this?
Our AI receptionist works 24/7. Even after hours, overnight, or before you open, it still answers and books the appointment. Most roofing leads (storm damage, leaks, emergencies) call whoever picks up first, so this stops you losing jobs to competitors just because you didn't answer in time.
How much does this cost?
$300/month, flat. There's no separate setup fee: your first month's payment covers setup. No contract.
How long does setup take?
Most roofing companies are live within a few days of the setup call. We do all of it: we set Riley up with your towns, services, and hours, connect your calendar, and test it before it answers a real call.
Will customers know it's not a real person answering?
If a caller asks, Riley tells them it's an AI receptionist. It never pretends to be a person. Most callers just care that someone picked up fast and got them on the schedule. Try it yourself at the top of this page.
What happens when someone has an active leak?
Riley treats it as an emergency. It gets the address, name, and number, tells the caller when to expect help, flags it on your calendar, and sends the call straight to your cell.
What happens if the AI can't answer something a customer asks?
It takes down the details and gets a message to you, just like a human receptionist would for a question outside their scope. It never lets the call go to voicemail.
Does it work with my current business phone number?
Yes. You keep your number and your calls forward to Riley. You choose how: every call, only the calls you don't pick up, or only after hours.
What if I already have someone answering my phones?
Then Riley only picks up the calls your team can't get to: nights, weekends, storm rushes, or when everyone's up on a roof. It's backup that never misses a call, not a replacement.
What about salespeople and spam calls?
Riley takes a quick message and logs it for you, so sales calls don't interrupt your day.
Can I cancel if it doesn't work out for me?
Yes. It's month to month with no contract. Just give us 7 days' notice before your next billing date. The details are in our Terms of Service.
